This photoblog has been created to showcase the highs & lows of local club Spalding United FC as they compete in the United Counties League Premier Division during the 2012/13 season.
My aim is to capture the involvement, dedication, humour, passion and emotions of players, supporters, officials and backroom staff associated with a typical lower-league English team with very little prospect of the glory, glamour or money associated with the top-flight professional game. Though not every match during the season will be covered, the hope is to help the club publish and sell a photo-journal at the end of the season, where the majority of any profits raised can be re-invested within the football club for it’s future well-being.
